Are there any good English thesauri online? I only know of thesaurus.com and the historical thesaurus feature of the OED.

Hi, I've found a thesaurus at Collins, but it isn't, by default, an excellent one, I guess, we'd have to pay for the real good stuff. But here it is: http://www.collinsdictionary.com/english-thesaurus

Besides, the downloadable WordWeb dictionary, especially with the payable, bigger version, has an excellent thesaurus function built into it, with synonyms, antonyms, related ... See more

Since you're likely to want US English, you could use the thesaurus on the Merriam-Webster site: http://www.merriam-webster.com/ (be sure to click the Thesarus tab before doing your search).

I used to use this one a lot because it jams all the results together rather than separating them out by meaning. This suits my way of thinking when I'm brainstorming! I don't think it's got any more content than thesaurus.com, it's just a different presentation.
