Sorry for writing this English. Upon my return to proz after having been absent for quite some time I discovered that the noticeboard function did not exist any longer (or?) that is why I am posting this here.

Hello everyone!

Sorry for writing this English. Upon my return to proz after having been absent for quite some time I discovered that the noticeboard function did not exist any longer (or?) that is why I am posting this here.

As the subject field suggests I am looking for a language-exchange partner who can offer French (native speaker or non-native advanced user) in exchange for my Russian/Swedish. I have been learning French for a couple of years now and my reading, writing and listening comprehension skills are intermediate, but my conversation skills are lagging behind as I can only practice my French occasionally. That is why I am now looking for someone to practice it with (perhaps through Skype).

If you are interested or know someone who might be interested please let me know.

Hi there - I'm not in a position to help with your query I'm afraid, but would direct to the 'Exchange' part of the site which might be a more fruitful place for you to post your inquiry.

Click on 'Member Activities' and then 'Exchange' and you can post your request there.

I'm not sure if it has replaced the 'noticeboard' feature you mentioned, but hopefully it'll do the trick.
