Gmail calls Now in 38 languages

Google has added some international support to make it easier for Gmail users to call from within their browsers.

In a blog post announcement on Tuesday, the company said that it now supports 38 languages and that international users will see a small green phone appear in their chat windows to make calls.

Calling will be supported in the following languages in addition to U.S. English: British English, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, German, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Estonian, Finnish, Filipino, French, Croatian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Latvian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovene, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese (Modern and Classical).
