Los invito a encontrarnos la noche previa al inicio del "Seminar and Workshop - Translation for Health Care" en la ciudad de Córdoba para comenzar a palpitar lo que será este gran evento.
Me encanta la idea de viajar desde la ciudad de La Plata para participar en nombre de ProZ.com en este evento y, por supuesto, no puedo dejar pasar la oportunidad de conocer y encontrarme con todos los que quieran compartir esta “previa” y puedan organizar sus agendas.
Lugar: El Paseo Buen Pastor
Av. Hipólito Yrigoyen 325 (entre la Av. Hipólito Yrigoyen y las calles Buenos Aires y San Lorenzo). Ahí hay un resto-bar, bastante informal y grande según tengo entendido, en donde podrán ver a un lindo grupito ... ¡que seremos nosotros! Así que ...¡a SUMARSE!
JBG in Rafael Nuñez gets quite noisy after 10pm so it's not so good for conversations. In Dino there's a big restaurant called Industria Nacional which is quite informal and could be a good place
Hola a todos! El Dinosarurio Mall es el mismo complejo del Health Care Seminar. Por ese lado, serÃa el mismo lugar y más fácil para todos. Otro detalle, no es ruidoso como otros lugares.

¿Dónde está el Dinosaurio Mall?

Hola a todas: ¿Alguien me puede decir dónde queda el Dinosaurio Mall? Hasta ahora, sé que el barrio Alto Verde está al norte de la ciudad, pero nunca estuve en Córdoba y no encuentro ningún mapa en Internet que me diga cómo llego desde el centro hasta allá. Gracias.

Can do - but it does depend on what transport the potential attendees have - it isn't in the centre of town. There are three or four bus lines passing there, but it takes half an hour from the centre. If there are a lot of non-cordobeses it could be tricky for them unless they have cars.

Getting to Dino Mall

Thanks, Silvina, for the info. I know where it is, but not how to get there from the centre. I have a car, but cannot find a city map including the centre AND the mall to look for the roads to get there.

Silvina and beckysa - where would you suggest specifically in Patio Olmos? It has to be a place where there is space for a group to talk - the patio de comidas is noisy and crowded, I think. The bar entering from Bv. San Juan may be possible, depending on numbers. Or the Golden over the road in the Amerian - but we'd have to check prices there.

I've been looking for the options suggested on the internet and maybe "Johnny B Good" in Nueva Córdoba is a good place to meet. I am thinking on many of us with no car available. Last year there was a pw held there by Florencia and it seemed a kind place ...http://www.jbgood.com/locales.htm ....We just have to make sure they accept bookings for "large groups" ...What do you think?

Creo que Nueva Córdoba es el mejor lugar para todos porque es más céntrico y no se necesita de auto o taxi para movilizarse. Tanto Cerro de las Rosas como Dinosuario Mall están alejados del centro. Quizá sea una buena idea aprovechar el Paseo del Buen Pastor, frente a Johnny B. Good, o algún lugar en esa área. Es muy lindo a la noche. Les dejo un enlace para que vean fotos para aquellos q... La sugerencia del Buen Pastor me parece excelente para quienes no quieran que se haga el Pow wow en el Dino. Es céntrico pero no tan ruidoso como JBG y Patio Olmos.
