I am a scientific and technical freelance translator looking for a job
in translation agencies outside Russia. I am ready to translate both
continuous and urgent projects.

Translation experience:
I began as a freelance translator in 1999 translating a Russian 
mathematical book to English for an acquainted professor in Japan.
Now I collaborate with some translation agencies and publishing houses
in Russia, Poland, USA, and Israel as a Russian-English and sometimes
English-Russian translator.

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Ph.D.),

Scientific interests:
Since 2000 I am a senior research officer in the Russian Cardiology
Research Center in the Laboratory of Arterial Hypertension. Now
I participate in research work concerning pathogenesis and etiology
of primary hypertension. Besides that I have a serious experience
in membrane science, polymer science, time series analysis, dynamical
chaos and nonlinear science. I have more than 20 publications in
scientific journals and conference presentations.

Computer skills:
I am an experienced user and amateur programmer. I work with MS Office
2000 (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), ABBYY Lingvo 8.0, ABBYY Fine
Reader, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Acrobat, ACDSee, WinZip, etc.
I have permanent Internet connection, E-mail, and FTP.
