Trong khu vườn nhỏ này, giếng nước được sử dụng chung: các nhà lân cận đều quảy gánh tới đây quay nước về xài. Quanh giếng nước bao giờ cũng đông vui. Giếng nằm giữa sáu cây mít già cao vút, các ngọn cây cao cao thường chuyện trò với giếng, kể cho giếng nghe mọi điều đã nghe được từ bầy chim sẻ.
