ProZ.com powwow: Translators Get Together

Calling all translators or language professionals in the Évora and Alentejo area.

I am a new translator in Évora would like to meet up with fellow professionals in the area. If you live in Setúbal, Lisbon, etc. you are more than welcome to come.

For now, I do not have any special topic to discuss, but if anyone wishes to bring it up just let me know.

We can arrange a city tour for Sunday, in case you are new to Évora and wish to visit the city.

The bar is located in the 4th floor, it is very confortable and nice. There are big windows and a balcony to enjoy the beautiful views. They serve light-meals, coffee and drinks.

Near the Intermarche and Staples, right? Nice place, though sometimes it is damned noisy.

Yes, it´s near Intermarche and Staples. It can be noisy, since it´s a popular place especially with young people, couples with kids, etc.

Since there will be some folks coming from out of Évora, I can do some search for places closer to train station and city center. What do you guys think?

What about the date, will that suit you?

Caso alguém esteja a planear ir para Évora mais cedo, e se houver interessados, podemos talvez marcar lá um almoço ainda +++ informal antes do Powwow? Digam qualquer coisa..

Tenho um compromisso de manhã em Lisboa e ainda não sei se consigo ir a Évora à tarde. Vou anotar o número do João Costeira para avisar. E, caso não consiga ir, desejo a todos um ótimo passeio e Powwow.
