I would like to propose a new theme, instead of going to a restaurant.... A meeting where we all cook a representative sample of a dish from our country.

Place at Bellecour, and I just put down a random date.

Let's all agree on a date and hour which fits everyone. Then... why not a picnic in a parc or the river bank where we all bring something special from home? Lot more cozy and we have plenty of time to discussicon_smile.gif

I will be happy to join the event. As for the date, July 22 is perfect for me, and time - I am flexible. A dish from our country is a nice idea. Venue - a parc (could eventually propose Le jardin des curiosités with a lovely view) or a river bank is fine, most important for me that I can hide from direct sunlight.

July 22 is fine and the time 13:00 H for a nice shared lunch. I just moved to Lyon so I do not know the city very well, yet.
It would be an excellent opportunity for me to socialize with colleagues...
I can bring a nice pasta salad to share and a bottled of fresh cider.
It would be lovely to meet in a park but we should have a plan B in case of rain...

To me it seems we are 4 who will be able to join (or?). Also it looks like it is going to rain tomorrow, so if you agree I propose we opt for the Jardin des curiosités at 1 pm (preferably we meet at 1pm at the level of the Eglise Saint George (the entrance) before walking up, it will allow us to decide together what we do if it rains).
