ProZ.com powwow: Drinks - all welcome!

March 20, 2014, 7:30 pm

The next Edinburgh powwow will be at Bar Hemma on Thursday 20th March. I've booked tables for approx. 20 people in the downstairs area of the bar.

If you've not been to one of these events before, don't be shy - just ask at the bar and you'll be pointed in the right direction. There are always lots of new faces but also plenty of regulars who will give you a very warm welcome. It's a great opportunity to meet fellow translators, old and new.

Bar Hemma is at the bottom of Holyrood Road, a short walk from the Royal Mile. The number 36 bus will drop you right outside. Food is available for those who want it. See http://www.bodabar.com/mt-static/hemma.html for a map and more details.

Any queries drop me a message!

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Becky.

*****UPDATE 20th MARCH*****

I've just spoken to Hemma and confirmed our booking for approx. 25 people tonight. They've reserved several tables for us right at the back of the downstairs area, so head right to the end of the bar to find us.

Booking confirmed for tonight Mar 20, 2014

Morning all,

I've just spoken to Hemma and confirmed our booking for approx. 25 people tonight. They've reserved several tables for us right at the back of the downstairs area, so head right to the end of the bar to find us.

Looking forward to it (although dreading going outside in this weather, frankly).

See you later,

Becky.
