Áreas de Patrimonio In Brazil, only the Armed Forces are authorized to keep personnel and facilities in certain heritage areas, such as "Restinga da Marambaia", some islands and others. It does make sense that armed forces should keep staff in such areas to protect them or because they are strategic in military terms. I became curious, why not ask the client?

As I understand it... ...these "patrimonios" are areas where the Ministry of Defence has a presence and has set up housing facilities for personnel and their dependents.

Doesn't have anything to do with Ceuta Thank you. As I mentioned, it also includes Área de Patrimonio de Barcelona/Ferrol/Pontevedra/Melilla/Cartagena, so I don't think it has anything to do with Ceuta being an enclave in Northern Africa, seeing as four out of five of the other locations mentioned are not enclaves :) And I'm not sure why the armed forces would have much to do with heritage sites...

Heritage? Would it not be "heritage" in this case, considering that these are historic enclaves? I would tend to go for it.

Ceuta and Melilla are two Spanish enclaves in Norhtern Africa. Ceuta is a Spanish exclave in North Africa, located on the northernmost tip of Maghreb, on the Mediterranean coast near the Strait of Gibraltar. It is known in Arabic as Sabtah in Standard Arabic, and Sebta in Morocco. Its area is approximately 28 km².

Ceuta is dominated by a hill called Monte Hacho, on which there is a fort occupied by the Spanish army. Monte Hacho is one of the candidates for the southern Pillars of Hercules of Greek Legend, the other candidate being Jebel Musa.

Ceuta is known officially in Spanish as Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, the Autonomous City of Ceuta, having a rank between a standard Spanish city and an autonomous community. Before the Statute of Autonomy, Ceuta was administratively part of the Cádiz province.
