Praxisanteile im Studium sind ECTS-fähig, wenn sie einen in das Studium integrierten und von der Hoch-schule geregelten, inhaltlich bestimmten und (idealerweise, aber nicht zwingend) mit Lehrveranstaltungen begleiteten, d.h. betreuten Ausbildungsabschnitt darstellen, der in der Regel in einem Betrieb oder in einer anderen Einrichtung der Berufspraxis abgeleistet wird. Ein als Bestehenstest fungierender Leistungs-nachweis ist überdies erforderlich, um ECTS-Credits zu vergeben bzw. zu erwerben. Daneben kann es als extracurriculare Option, die nicht verpflichtend sein darf, auch solche Praktika geben, für die keine ECTS-Credits vergeben werden (z.B. unbetreute Praktika als Vorsemester).
