Troubleshooting for a winch
This is the possible cause for the winch fail. I know that "sheaves" refers to "poleas", but I'm lost with the rest of the sentence. Any idea?

Aporto una interpretación, suponiendo mucho, porque no tenemos mucho contexto.
Imagino que puede tratarse de algún tipo de "Troubleshooter", o sea, instrucciones de cómo resolver las dificultades mecánicas...
Lo de "binding load" lo entiendo como una "carga bloqueada", y si tu certeza de que "sheaves" se refiere a "poleas", entonces entiendo que las poleas tratan de acarrear o cargar una carga (valga la redundancia) que está bloqueada, fija o "vinculada"...
Si puedes darnos algo más de contexto estoy seguro de que otros colegas podrán echar una mano, o bien confirmando mi suposición, o aportando una mejor...
