Плеврит и эмфизема имеют общим то, что обе болезни суть заболевания легких. Малочисленность наловленных в Гугле ссылок с 'lounge disease' действительно наводят на мысль, что это 'lung disease'. По крайней мере, в этом случае все логически бы легко объяснялось. Но уверенности нет.

Вот еще доводы в пользу этого:
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (also spelled -koniosis) is an alleged lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust found in volcanoes. It was originally coined to serve as the longest English word. The more general and widely used term for this condition is pneumoconiosis.

LMAO :D:D:D Mine's pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. And yes, I did type it up and not copy and paste it. It's because it's the longest English word in the dictionary and I learned it back in grade 4 or 5 and I was really proud (I still am) :D
haha. i love that word too. I learned it like forever ago but it means like "black lounge disease" lol. people just want to sound smart so they make life hard with big words!!

Про одну и ту же болезнь (тут уж название точно одно и то же, кто бы сомневался) сказано в серьезном источнике lung disease, а в форуме (превед, аффтар) — lounge disease.
Думаю, опечатка.
Lung disease — заболевание легких.
