There is also another point where regulators (I worked IT in an investment bank) said that people in my position had to take two consecutive weeks off, at least once a year, no work allowed or the clock is reset. Regulators check the company's e-mails and someone who is regulatory off gets their "regulatory leave" taken away. Finally, management got smarter and the company was doing better, when you were on regulatory leave, your access to the building is suspended, your login is put is locked out, your company supplied phone was to be turned in.
