rituel de fumigation...

purificatrice en faisant brûler de la sauge. "Smudge" peut se traduire par "maculer" ; le substantif correspondant est "maculation". Mais son emploi ici serait déplacé. Il faut, je pense se contenter d'utiliser "fumigation" qui désigne le fait d'envelopper de fumées. La sauge est l'une des quatre plantes utilisées par les Amérindiens dans les rituels de purification. Cf. les adresses ci-après.
