English term (edited):

陈列物
Everything that you display (put up) in a function such as a wedding dinner, a seminar, an exhibition and so on.
Have you seen the "Body World" exhibition??? They display dead human bodies and bodies parts, as well as monkey and horses which have been chemically treated. Well, you sure do have to send these up in a service lift. Even if they can fit in the guest lifts, I don't think Mr. Grabowski or Ms Papotoulope likes to be in the same guest lifts as them.
The banquet staff send these functions displays using the service lift because usually such lifts are bigger and they can take in large displays. Another reason is so that they do not create a mess at the guest lobby or bring inconvenience to the guests.

Hmm, I see that the other seems to take \"function displays\" as a screen display. I maintain my point: they are displays used in functions.

On Luzou\'s notes:
I don\'t think the term \"function displays\" is restricted to only shelves and racks used to display brochures and promotional materials.

displays = a collection of objects or pictures arranged for people to look at.
Well, museums have displays: 陈列着展品的柜子,等等

Well, each company/organisation will have its own display (publicity materials, samples etc) packed up in a transportable form. 平常包括一个什么架子之类的,不重,但是电梯必须够大...估计大家都比较清楚是怎么回事. 但是可能不能用\'物品\', 因为每一家公司只有一个\'display\'.
