I think it's probably referred to （驱动）变速比, in which, drive is not a must to be translated...we can say speed ratio, but professionally and specifically we employ gear ratio...if there is transmission, or else, please take just speed ratio, with or without drive or driving, while the former is preferable in specific circle.
