Hello,
We had a letter from a lawyer to a client (individual) translated from German into English.
In the signature the attorney signs off with:
Ich stelle zu
Which has been translated as:
I am delivering.
Is this correct? The translator indicated that he realizes it has an odd ring to it, but that it is an obscure sentence.
Before sending it to the client would like to double check this as it sounds rather strange. Does anyone have any input?

As far as I know, this is used in the context of supplying documents (as SinnerAtta indicated), but since it is part of the signing off of the letter, I would word it differently this way.
Example sentence:
[greeting], [content], With documents enclosed, [name/sig]

If someone wants to register a court case against an opposing party, the court papers must be hand delivered to that party, i.e., "served". This is not very easy in every case; sometimes the defendant, knowing that there is a lawsuit or subpoena coming, will try to avoid being served.
