The Hotel rewards non-sales team members for referring business to the property. Team members will receive an initial award for leads that are booked, and then a percentage of revenue at the conclusion of the function.

The general idea is that of a 'sales lead', but I don't quite see how easy it is to work this into being 'booked' — and yet I don't think they're talking about actual clients (as guests), since they go on to talk about 'the function', as if this were really about banquets and other similar function bookings.

Hi John, thanks! Well, my only qualm is that they say these leads are booked, and then go on to talk about functions, so 'client' may be awkward to work in? // Variable, autumnal: misty mornings, if we're lucky, the sun shows its face, staying mild
