I know what the term means, but I'm having trouble coming up with a decent equivalent in English.
This comes from a company press release, which reports on a donation made by a company and an agreement that was signed for building several day care centers.
CONTEXT: "La firma del convenio se realizó en el Palacio de La Moneda, en presencia de la Presidenta de Chile, Michelle Bachelet, cuyo Programa de Gobierno considera la ***educación parvularia*** como tema prioritario."
I was thinking of "pre-school education", but I'm not convinced. Any better suggestions?
