French term

transport

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
I am translating a mandate for Mr. X authorises Mr. Y to sign a contract of sale of a house and land. Amongst the things the mandatory is empowered to do is the following:

"Accepter de l'acquereur toute garanties qui pourraient etre donnees pour assurer le paiement du prix de vente, ainsi que le transport de toutes indemnites d'assurance".

I am stuck on the meaning of the word 'transport' in this context. Could it refer to the payment of all insurance indemnities?

Thank you !!

agree LJC (X) : The purchaser often takes over the vendor's house insurance, so transfer would work here.
