English term

California All-purpose Acknoledgement

English to Spanish Law/Patents Law (general) law, power of attorney
I need to translate into Spanish the title of a power of attorney. It is given in the State of California in a written form. In the margin of the form it has the words "California All-porpuse Acknolegment". The teacher of translation told us that it is a Power of Attorney. I consider that the translation of these terms would be "Reconocimiento General del Estado de California. My doubt is that Reconocimiento in Spanish is not the same than "Poder Legal o Mandato", that is the real meaning of this document. In Guatemala we use a very much difficult legal lexical similar to Chile and Argentina and sometimes the translations don't have the same meaning.

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (1): Sandra Cifuentes Dowling

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

reconocimiento para uso general (de California)

Te adjunto una muestra de un 'acknowledgment'. Este formulario no es un poder; es simplemente como piensas un reconocimiento para el uso general, usado por notarios, que indica que la persona que se ha presentado es la que firma el documento, etc.
