Hi, sorry for writing in English but it's easier for me.
Well, I suggest you to do the following:
- copy the text from the Excel file
- open new Word document
- in MS Word select Paste special (not just Paste, but Paste special)
- appears a window with many options - you select Unformatted text
- after that in the Word document press ctrl+A (select all) and on the menu of MS Word you have Review tab and from this tab select Word count.
- in Word count appear: the number of words in the document, number of characters (with spaces and without spaces) etc.
